This article talks about my reflections on the The Interaction (Human Computer Interaction Chapter 3). This chapter establishes a solid framework and understanding about what is commonly known as the User-Machine interaction. With the help of a Video Cassette Recorder (VCR) as an example, it explains the process flow in the Interaction model. Further the reader is exposed to the case study of various graphical and interactive aspects of the Windows interface (WIMP) viz. Menus, Buttons, Icons, Pointers and dialog boxes which helps in understanding of a digital interface holistically.
